Failure to receive automated emails after a quotation or booking
Solution:
 
In the majority of cases, especially when this is an ongoing problem, this issue occurs when your email server is either treating the incoming mail as SPAM and re-directing the emails to another location or is blocking the receipt of emails by blacklisting the IP address of the Globelink Fallow server that is sending the email.

In order to resolve this, you should check the SPAM folder to see whether the email has arrived or request your I.T. Department to check whether any of the following IP Addresses are being blacklisted; 184.175.82.124 / 162.208.0.210 / 109.104.78.104

If any of the above IP addresses are found to be blocked then this blacklisting should be removed and/or the IP addresses added to the list of approved senders to avoid a repeat blacklisting.

 

 

The program hangs when loading or displays a plain white screen
Solution 1:
 
Clear the Flash Player cookie that stores user name and password. Using the right mouse button to click anywhere on the QuickQuote screen, select ‘Global Settings’ from the small pop up window that appears. Within the ‘Storage’ tab, half way down the page, click the “Delete All” button to remove the flash player cookie. Return to your browser window, use the F5 key on your keyboard to re-load the program and then you will need to sign in again.
 

Solution 2:
 
Update Flash Player:

The Adobe flash player can be updated by visiting https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
 

Solution 3:
 
Clear the “cache” memory of your internet browser before trying to re-load the program. If you are unsure how to do this please visit http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser’s-Cache
 

Solution 4:
 
Try an alternative internet browser to establish whether the program continues to hang or fails to load. Examples of other browsers are Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome or Opera.
 

QuickQuote shows a warning that the Adobe Flash Player needs to be updated, even though the Flash Player plugin has been updated.
Solution:
 
This issue appears to occur when using Internet Explorer as the browser and ActiveX Filtering is turned on in the options.

Open Internet Explorer then select “Tools” in the top menu. The option for “ActiveX Filtering” should not be ticked. If it has a tick alongside it, select the item to de-select it.
